The Fountain of Youth? Not as Far-Fetched as You Think it is!

fountain

Have you ever wondered what started the search for the “Fountain of Youth”? There are lots and lots of “healthy” things that could have been sought out to slow the aging process.  Why water?

History has proven that legends usually have a glimmer of truth behind them.  The search for the “Fountain of Youth” isn’t nearly as far-fetched as you might think it is.  After all, water is the most important nutrient for the human body.  It only makes sense that somewhere, someone experienced health benefits just by drinking water from a “Fountain of Youth”.

Tales about the “Fountain of Youth” have been recorded across the world for thousands of years.  In 1513 Ponce de León discovered Florida while in search of the  Fountain of Youth.

“A mysterious water source capable of reversing the aging process and curing sickness” (Bimini)

During the 16th century Bimini was rumored to have water with “restorative powers”.  The health and longevity of the Caribbean people during that time served as confirmation of the “Fountain of Youth” rumors.

In 1767 Jackson Spa in Boston was selling “medicinal water” (aka water from the Fountain of Youth) for $1.75 a pint!  It is reported that people traveled far and wide to purchase this medicinal water – there must have been something very special about that water for people to spend over a month’s wages on a pint of it!

The Hunza Valley tribe has been studied by experts for the past 6 decades because of their amazing longevity, lack of disease and exceptional I.Q.’s.  Although a stress-free lifestyle and a natural diet can’t be overlooked, scientists have concluded that their water source is nothing short of a “Fountain of Youth” and that a lifetime  of this water can be credited for their  health and longevity.

You can find a Fountain of Youth in a few places in the world today.  Millions of people each year flock to Lourdes, France and Tlacote, Mexico to drink water with  healing properties.  Test results have proven that these waters can be considered “water with life” and they positively have “healing properties” due to the active hydrogen naturally present in these waters.

If you’ve got all of the time and money in the world I guess you can set out across the globe  in search of THE Fountain of Youth. – but that plan sure doesn’t work for me!   I have my own Fountain of Youth in my home and I can produce an endless supply of water from it 24/7 for my family and friends.

Too bad Ponce de León isn’t around

to see this!

My water is produced by a high-tech device that restructures my tap water into MIRROR image the healing waters found naturally in just a few places int he world today.  The health benefits to me and my family have nothing short of miraculous and the long-term benefits are immeasurable.  Purchasing a device that takes my source water “back to origin” has been the best investment I’ve ever made for my family.  For the price of one round-trip ticket to Lourdes, France or Tlacote, Mexico I’ve got a solution that will last for decades!

There are already 30 million people drinking my water from a “Fountain of Youth” water device.  Would you like to have access to an endless supply of water from your own Fountain of Youth for you and your family too?   If you answer no”, then you’re overlooking the obvious.  If you answer “yes” then you need to ask me how so that you can begin reversing your aging process just like me!

Stop Being so Proud of Your Recycling Efforts…The Joke’s on You!

recyclingIt’s no wonder people glaze over when I  talk to them about the importance of healthy water and  how plastic bottles are polluting the planet.  One blue recycling container and a little bit of elbow grease and most American’s actually believe that they’re doing their part to save the planet!  How does it feel to be suckered into all of that work only to have your separated plastics end up in the local landfill?

We are recycling, right?  WRONG!

For the most part (with few exceptions) U.S. companies believe that there isn’t enough money in recycling plastics so the plastics that we separate out from our garbage used to be shipped to China where it could be processed more affordably than here in the U.S.  It should come as no surprise that there are HUGE drawbacks with this plan that the “experts” didn’t consider.

First of all, transporting plastics across the ocean consumes massive amounts of fuel which no longer makes financial sense to China.  It never made sense to me!  It takes 1 cup of oil just to produce a plastic bottle and then we ship it  all the way around the world to begin the process all over again?  No wonder we have an energy crisis!

Second, the small companies that do the majority of China’s plastic recycling have “no facilities to treat waste water before it flows into local rivers”.  So in addition to an already horrific  air pollution problem, China is  now destroying their water sources with toxic plastic runoff.  I guess the good news is that this costly (and  ridiculous) plan of ours did keep a some of the discarded plastics out of our landfills…at least temporarily.

So…it’s official.  As of 2013, plastics numbered 3-7  are absolutely, positively going to a landfill and mixed in with all of the other junk we throw away.  China has stopped importing plastic trash under its new Green Fence Policy and Americans  are getting the blame.  Apparently 20% of the items we tossed into our plastic recycling bins were either not thoroughly washed (ha!) or were not recyclable so Chinese processors had to bury or burn the unusable plastics, polluting their air and growing their landfills. Go figure.  There isn’t a good answer for millions and millions of disposable bottles each year…not in the U.S…not in China…not in the ocean…not anywhere.  It must stop.

Even in our brightest hours of recycling – when China was being cooperative by taking  all of our trash plastics and recycling it so that it could be sold back to us – STILL less than 10% of our plastic junk EVER made it to recycling.  Some say that we’re actually only recycling 1-2% of all of the plastics discarded.  Do you wonder how the numbers could be so low?  Because the exporting of plastics to China always comes down to negotiated pricing.  If the price isn’t attractive enough then the plastic gets buried in our local landfills.   How pathetic is that?   So much for all of your blue container efforts!

It’s time to take real action.  Action beyond that which makes you feel good when you toss your plastic bottles into a blue container…action that will truly make a difference.  Toss the plastic for good.  Clean up your water source and start refilling your own reusable bottle with healthy water.  After all, this is the action recommended to all Americans  in Reducing Environmental Cancer Risk…What We Can Do Now  – a research study conducted by NIH for the President’s Cancer Panel) and I think it’s time to take heed.

If you don’t care enough about your own health to toss the harmful plastics then do it for the sake of the planet.  The next generation and the environment will thank you for it and you’ll be saving tens of thousands of dollars in the long run!

Lourdes Water Piped In? Well…sort of…

lourdesThe water that we drink today has no resemblance whatsoever to the water that is naturally created and intended for human health.    The fact that your water is clear and clean (looking) is a very small factor in the bigger picture and depriving your body of the right water is wreaking havoc on your health whether you believe it or not!   We all need water like that found in places like Lourdes, France and Tlacote, Mexico!   Obviously we can’t have it piped in across the globe (or can we?)  so we all need to consider alternatives for the sake of our health.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but companies like Nestle and Coke are 100% financially driven and they don’t have your best interest in mind.   Technically they can’t even describe the clear contents of your water bottle as “water” and yet you’re paying (on the average) $6.00 a gallon for it!  Water is supposed to be rich in minerals and electrically charged.  Bottled water is void of all minerals and is known to be highly oxidative (promotes aging and disease).   With that in mind, the bottled water you drink has absolutely no benefit to the human body whatsoever.  You may not die of thirst if you drink it but the same is true for toilet water.  The body’s need for water goes well beyond not dying of thirst!  Water is the most important nutrient for the human body and it (in its natural state) serves a HUGE purpose for health!

Your local wastewater treatment plant may do a good job in providing you with an endless supply of water piped in (at a high price) but it takes a whole lot of chemicals (up to 300) to recycle human waste so that it is “safe” to drink and bathe in.  No thanks.  I don’t care how many chemicals you put in there I don’t want to drink or bathe in anybody’s else’s waste!   How can you reasonably expect that human waste laced with hundreds of chemical (to make it potable)  can possibly be “safe” and healthy for humans?

What we all need is  “healing” waters like that found in Lourdes, France!  Unfortunately we can’t have it piped in…or can we?

Almost 40 years ago a group of scientist took action to invent a technology that would restructure water so that it could returned its origin…the way it is supposed to be naturally…the way that it is in places like Lourdes!   This technology restructures water so that it mirrors (and beyond) the “healing waters”  from around the world that have been scientifically proven to have medicinal properties. Since this medical grade technology is easily attached to the faucet in your home it IS like piping medicinal water in from Lourdes!

Dr. Ray Kurzweil (M.I.T.) was inducted into the Inventors Hall of Fame in 2002, won the National Medal of Technology in 1999, voted Inventor of the Year by M.I.T.,  voted Engineer of the Year by Design News and has received 12 honorary doctorates along with honors from 3 U.S. Presidents.  This is what Dr. Kurzweil has this to say to skeptics of restructured water:

It is fairly simple to show that these statements (of doubt) are incorrect.  Alkaline, ionized water is very beneficial to one’s health.  There are more benefits to drinking alkalized, ionized water than just the alkalinity or pH however.  The most important benefit of drinking alkaline water produced by an ionizer is Oxidative Reduction Potential (ORP).  Water with a high negative ORP is of particular value in its ability to neutralize oxygen free radicals.

If you like to think that water is just water, that’s certainly your prerogative, but I’d be careful not to say that in the presence of people like Dr. Ray Kurzweil who know better.  I would also advise against uttering those words in the presence of the millions and millions of the people who travel to Lourdes, France or Tlacote, Mexico each year in hopes of finding healing.  Some have seen such amazing results by drinking this water that they have it shipped directly to their home….until they realize that they can “pipe it in” with technology, that is.

There is a tremendous difference in water and I’m happy to prove  it. Personally, I don’t feel the need to travel around the world for miracles nor do I need to hoard up the  miracle water and drag it across the globe.  My miracles seem to find me  wherever I am and I can “pipe in” my own restructured, hexagonal,  ”active hydrogen” MIRACLE water in the comfort of my own home.

Trading the Pasture for a Petri Dish? Where’s the Beef?

fake cowSergey Brin, co-founder of Google, funded the production of the world’s first lab-grown hamburger aka synthetic beef. Brin said that he was moved to invest in the technology for “animal welfare reasons”.  I think Brin needs to go vegan and give more consideration to the welfare of the human species.

Brin’s funding was used by a team of scientists led by physiologist Dr Mark Post at Maastricht University (The Netherlands).   This team set out  to grow 20,000 muscle fibers from the stem cells of  cows over the course of three months.  These fibers were extracted from individual culture wells and then pressed together to form “hamburger”.  The objective is to “create meat that is biologically identical to beef” but grown in a lab rather than raised in a field.  I can think of a few things to call this scientific concoction and “hamburger” is NOT on the list.   Have we not learned our lesson about “fake food” yet?

Dr. Post, team leader and physiologist for this project says:

“Cows are very inefficient, they require 100g of vegetable protein to produce only 15g of edible animal protein,” Dr Post told the Guardian before the event. “So we need to feed the cows a lot so that we can feed ourselves. We lose a lot of food that way. [With cultured meat] we can make it more efficient because we have all the variables under control. We don’t need to kill the cow and it doesn’t [produce] any methane.”

The longer I live the stranger the world gets.  Call me old-fashioned but I’m going to keep pushing locally grown (and raised) food and healthy, environmentally friendly water no matter what concoctions they come up with.

I’ll be thinking of Brin every time I eat a sirloin steak that came from one of those “inefficient” cows.  Sue me.

Forget Socially Unacceptable…We Need To Talk About This!

bwel

Dr. Sanjay Gupta, neurosurgeon and well known medical correspondent to CNN recently wrote an article entitled Diagnosing and Managing IBS.  My discomfort with this article runs a close second to the discomfort that stems from your IBS.

“Irritable bowel syndrome is the most common gastrointestinal disorder, affecting 35 million Americans. Yet “IBS is misunderstood by a lot of people,” said Satish Rao, MD, chief of gastroenterology and hepatology and director of the Digestive Health Center at Georgia Regents University. “It’s gotten better within the last decade, but it can be a category where we group a lot of patients whose symptoms we don’t understand.”

Thirty five (35)  million (MORE THAN 10% of the US population) suffer from IBS?  It would be very interesting to know how many suffer with symptoms of IBS but have not been officially diagnosed.  Now that’s a scary thought.

Dr. Gupta’s article inspired me to research causes and cures for common colon related issues and here is what I found:

What causes IBS?  It’s not clear what causes IBS and there is no known cure.

What causes Crohn’s Disease?  It’s not clear what causes Crohn’s Disease and there is no known cure.

What causes Diverticulitis?  It is not clear what causes Diverticulitis and there is known cure.

I’m not a physician and I’m not an expert (or a victim) of colon issues but I know who is.   Dr. Hiromi Shinya is considered to be the leading colon specialist in the world.   If you have colon issues you are likely well aware of who he is.  Dr. Shinya is the creator of the Shinya Method which revolutionized non-invasive colon surgery and he is the author of The Enzyme Factor.   Dr. Shinya  is from Japan where prevention is given more emphasis than “cures”.  He stresses the importance of prevention and maintenance through PROPER diet AND he highly recommends the use of LOTS and LOTS of water that has medicinal properties. Not tap, not Dasani, not Brita-filtered,  not Penta but water with true (and scientifically proven) medicinal properties.   Dr. Shina has numerous videos available online that show the difference in the colon when medicinal water is used as part of routine colon therapy.  The improvements are astounding.

The choice is yours.  Maybe drinking medicinal water seems far too simple for you but I assure you, if I was doubled over in pain and planning life around where the closest bathroom is, I would look beyond surgery and prescriptions and listen to the leading colon specialist.   What do you have to lose besides pain and agony?
