So…Who (or what) Pooped in the Bottled Water? Hmm…

niagraI was in the real estate business for many years so I’m very familiar with E.coli contamination in wells.  The source of E.coli is feces from of humans (and other mammals) so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that E.coli is often found in rural wells.  After all, what is on the ground surface will eventually find its way into the water source.

Acceptable Levels of HUMAN WASTE in municipal water – 3 to 20%!

The municipal water from my town was just confirmed to have E.coli contamination and “safety precautions” have been issued.  I have to laugh when the locals express their shock over “how this could ever happen”!  Little do most of them know, their municipal water is just recycled sewage with acceptable levels of solid human waste in the  3-20% range.  With that in mind, you can bank on having a little E.coli from the feces in your water every once in a while!  The chemicals that it would take for remediation to remove ALL contaminants in municipal water would be enough to kill off a small country.  Instead, we ingest a few hundred chemicals and we live with the consequences.

Far too many people believe that commercially bottled water is the “safest” water you can drink.  Not only is it not any safer than your tap water, it is wreaking havoc on your health in ways you can’t begin to imagine.  Ignorance about bottled water could be your biggest downfall when it comes to your health and the scam behind the process is enough to make Bernie Madoff look like Mother Theresa.

Recently millions of bottles of bottled water were recalled by Niagara Bottling company (based out of Canada) due to E.coli contamination. If this water comes from a deep source natural spring as implied by Niagara, who (or what) pooped in the water?    I’m not sold on the concept of a natural spring any more than I believe that I can buy oceanfront property in Arizona. If the water source for the Niagara brand waters is like most of the other commercially bottled water sources, it’s coming from the local tap and not some mysterious “spring” somewhere.  How does it feel to buy your local water twice?

How did E.coli from feces find its way into the supply?

Niagara issued a statement saying its disinfection process would have kept E.coli out of its bottled water even if tainted water made it into the plant.  If that’s the case, how did E.coli sneak into the bottled water?  So much for the “disinfection process”.

This following statement provided by the Niagara spokesman makes no sense at all, no matter how many times you read it:

USA Today – June 23, 2015

Niagara spokesman Stan Bratskeir said contamination was found at a water provider, Far Away Springs, based in Auburn, Pa. He said no contamination was found in the water obtained from Far Away Springs or in Niagara’s own finished products.

What is my point to this rant of mine?  You betcha!  My point is that you need to take control of the water you’re drinking, otherwise accept the feces and the cancer causing chemicals and call-it-a-day.  If you’re banking on the FDA to watch out for you; think again.  The FDA doesn’t test commercially bottled water.  You’re on your own.

I’ve taken control of my water source once and for all.  You won’t find chlorine or fluoride in my water.  You won’t find parasites in my water.  You won’t find E.coli in my water.  You won’t find (up to) 300 legally allowable chemicals (many known to cause cancer) in my water.  You won’t find pharmaceuticals in my water.  You won’t find ANY amount of feces in my water.  You won’t find me tipping toxic water bottle to my lips…EVER.

Now you know “the rest of the story”.  If you continue to drink water bottled in plastic known to have as many as 20,000 chemicals, do it at YOUR OWN RISK.  As for me and my family….it’s only THE BEST.

I really would like to know who (or what) pooped in the water.

Ebola or Not…It’s Time to Wise-up!

mask (NaturalNews) The spread of Ebola to the USA is “inevitable,” said the head of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Thursday.

Whether we are at risk of Ebola or not, it’s time to put on your armor to guard your health.  There are 3 very important things that every single American needs to focus on…with or without the risk of Ebola.

1.  Your immune system.   We  know that taking vitamin C, drinking green tea or downing cod liver oil (yuck)  is a boost to the immune system.  Did you know that just by drinking the right water that you can have an antioxidant benefit tens of thousands of times stronger than any of those other “therapies” combined?   It’s true.   Ionized, alkalized, electrically charged, anti-oxidant water will produce an unlimited supply of ionized water that provides an anti-oxidant benefit far greater than any supplement, juice, fruit or green leafy vegetables known to mankind.  Just by changing your water, you can profoundly change your health.  The stronger your immune system, the more prepared you are to do “battle”.

Exposure to Germs

2.  Killing germs without toxic exposure.  Hand sanitizers and disinfectants  do a so-so job at killing germs BUT they come at a very big price.  No matter what brand you’ve been spending your hard-earned money on, they are laced with harmful chemicals, dyes and fragrances.  It doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to be using products that claim to kill germs only to do further damage to your already overloaded body (from environment toxins).

Did you know that just by using water with a pH as low as 2.5  that you can kill things like MRSA, e-Coli, Salmonella, and the AIDS virus within 30 seconds of contact?  It’s true…there are lab test results readily available to prove the power of 2.5 pH water.    A quality ionizer will not only provide an endless supply of the healthiest drinking water, it will also equip you to kill germs and viruses 24/7!  In addition to having the most potent germ killer on hand, you can freely spray surfaces, etc., in public places without being offensive and without setting off somebody’s allergies.  How’s that for an armor against germs?

3.  An ample supply of healthy water.  An outbreak of Ebola isn’t the only thing that could cause concern over your water supply.  Having an ample supply of healthy water in any emergency situation is wise.

If you follow the news, then you’re already familiar with the water contamination problems that hit West Virginia earlier this year and Ohio earlier this month.  How much water is enough water to have on hand in a crisis?  A week’s worth?  A month’s worth?

The U.S. government emergency preparedness protocol calls for 2 gallons of water per day/per person.  Truthfully, there is no such thing as having enough bottled water in an emergency situation.  Even a threat of a snowstorm or hurricane can empty the shelves of bottled water.  Owning your own quality water ionizer that will provide an unlimited supply of  healthy drinking water AND water that can be used to clean and disinfect is just good common sense.

Where do you Stand?

The world today is full of news that will tax your last nerve if you let it. I believe in being well-informed but I don’t believe in being an alarmist. I am a woman of Faith and I know “the rest of the story”.  However, my  family counts on me to make healthy, wise decisions and I take my role very seriously.  Expecting the people I love to drink unhealthy water out of toxic plastic bottle while hoping there will be an unlimited and affordable supply of it in an emergency is ridiculous (and reckless).  I have the best ionizer money can buy and we’re all healthier because of it.  We’re ready to “do battle”.

Unfortunately, some people are so beaten down by life that they chose to put their head in the sand in hopes that it will go away.   Taking steps to be healthy, germ-free and prepared is just plain common sense and it’s worth every penny you pay to get there.  The alternative is a whole lot costlier in more ways than one.

Take action for you and your family.  You can put your head in the sand after you get prepared.  Who knows?  If you start feeling healthier you might just have what it takes to do “battle”.

Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Our Troops Fight For You… Will You Fight For Them?

Erin Brockovich is rallying on behalf of Camp Lejeune victims of decades-long  toxic water contamination and their right for proper health care for the damage done as a result of their exposure.  What are YOU doing to fight for our troops?

The Federal Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease shows that the decades-long case of drinking water contamination at Camp Lejeune is “one of the worst on record in the history of America”.

Tap water supplied to base housing contains toxic chemicals and known carcinogens including benzenevinyl chloride and trichloroethylene at levels that significantly exceed “legal limits”.  Veterans and their families have been poisoned at Camp Lejeune (and God knows where else) since 1948.  The civilian parallel for this type of damage would be  multiple life prison sentences but since this is a government “oversight” we’ll excuse it as a big mistake.  Tell that to the thousands of cancer patients coming out of Camp Lejeune for the past 50 years!  Veterans, fathers, sons, wives, children, grandchildren.  Is that any way to treat those willing to fight for you and for me?

“We knew the evidence was damning – now it’s historic,” said environmental activist Erin Brockovich. “Policymakers need to wake up and realize that Camp Lejeune is just one of the many tragedies playing out in our communities across the country.”

Of course Marine Corps officials attempted to deny wrongdoing, contending there is insufficient “reliable scientific evidence” to link the contamination to illnesses suffered by former base residents and their families.  The proof is in the epidemic level of disease and trace levels of documented toxic contaminants in all those tested.  I wonder what the Marine officials drink?

The fact that Erin Brockovich (and the White House) drinks Kangen Water should be a motivating factor for you.   Not tap water…not bottled water…not filtered Brita water…not “dead” reverse osmosis water or some wanna-be ionizer but Kangen Water.  The word Kangen means “return to origin”. ..the way water was before we managed to screw it up.  The way God created it.  Try it sometime.  Your body will thank you for it.

Bottoms up America.  If you trust your water source then perhaps the chemicals have already gone to your brain.  Why would you trust a system that has hidden this deadly contamination from our troops and their families since 1948?   Hmm….

Hey, West Virginia! You Better Have Thick Skin and a Gas Mask!

water cycle

The recent chemical spill tragedy in West Virginia highlights our stupidity about how the environment works.  There is a false sense of security about tap water that boggles the mind.  West Virginians may get the “green light” to begin using their tap water again, along with assurances that it is “safe”, but the problem (for all of us) is far from being over.

The saying “what goes up must come down” has to do with more than just gravity.  It applies to our environment as well.  Very simply, what goes into the ground eventually ends up in your water supply.  What shows up  in your water supply eventually ends up in your air.  What shows up in your air eventually ends up in your water again.  This is nature’s way of recycling.

Though the privately managed municipal water treatment firm in West Virginia may say that the water is “safe” to drink, they can’t control the damage to the environment that may impact all of us eventually because every river feeds into another body of water.  If we’re not careful, we’ll all be “up the creek without a paddle”.

The news was filled with  urgent requests for bottled water for the victims of this chemical spill.  Unfortunately, most bottled water IS tap water.  Another false sense of security.  The last thing these poor people needed was bottled municipal water laced with more toxins.  I wonder…how many of those tens of thousands of plastic bottles will ever make it to a recycling center.  Not many.

It’s time we all stop being stupid when it comes to our health.  Water is the source of life and THE KEY component for good health.  Stop trusting municipal waters sources.  STOP BUYING water in a bottle that you already know is bad for your health!  Stop taking water for granted and do something to protect yourself and your family before another chemical spill makes it downstream.

Criminal Consequences for Water Contamination? Should Be!

water-droplet-iconExposure to contaminated water is wreaking havoc on the health of those who serve our Country.  If this negligence is acceptable treatment for our troops, what do you suppose is acceptable for the rest of us?

Here are just a few to get your blood boiling:

#1 – According to  reports, 376,377 defense contractor employees assigned in 2003 to rebuild a water pumping facility in Iraq and National Guardsmen from several states responsible for their security were exposed to  hexavalent chromium that was left at the site. The chemical was originally used to remove and prevent corrosion in the water pipes.  While on site, many of the exposed individuals suffered skin sores, nose bleeds, nausea, stomach pain, and respiratory problems, including coughing up blood.  Many  still have residual respiratory and other ailments to this day and there is a slow but sure reporting of lung and sinus cancer that can (and should) be directly linked to their chromium exposure.

# 2 –  A new report by the Federal Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease shows that the decades-long case of drinking water contamination at Camp Lejeune is one of the worst on record. Tap water supplied to base housing contains toxic chemicals and known carcinogens including benzenevinyl chloride and trichloroethylene at levels that significantly exceed “legal limits”.  Veterans and there families have been poisoned at Camp Lejeune (and God knows where else) since 1948.  The civilian penalty for this negligence would be  multiple life prison sentences but since this is a government “oversight” we’ll excuse it as a big mistake.  Tell that to the thousands of cancer patients coming out of Camp Lejeune since 1948.  Veterans, fathers, sons, wives,  mothers, children, grandchildren.   What a way to treat those willing to serve our country!

Where is Erin Brockovich when we need her?  Perhaps even Erin isn’t bold enough to take on the U.S. government.

Take control of your water NOW.  Make sure your understand the source, the problems and the solution.  By changing your water you can profoundly change your life.

Join Erin Brockovich and me (and a whole lot of others).   We both understand the problem and potential dangers of water AND we drink only the BEST…Kangen Water.  Of course, our solution is a whole lot more than a simple water filter.  It actually has medicinal properties and it allows us to eliminate other harmful chemicals that are also polluting our water sources.   Hmm….social responsibility.  Now THAT’S a novel concept!  Want to join us?

Salad-In-a-Bag? There’s Something Drastically Wrong With That in More Ways Than One!

salad in a bagHealth officials in Iowa and Nebraska have finally gotten to the bottom of the “mysterious bug” that has sickened hundreds of people across 15 states.  They determined the source as being “bagged lettuce” and the culprit is known as “Cycospora” –    a pathogen transmitted by feces or feces-contaminated fresh produce and water (nasty!).  This rare (thank goodness) parasite causes a miserable and lengthy gastrointestinal illness.

I couldn’t resist posting this definition of “Cyclospora” provided by the Mayo Clinic:

Cyclospora infection causes watery, and sometimes explosive, diarrhea. The one-celled parasite that causes cyclospora infection can enter your body when you ingest contaminated food or water. Fresh produce is the culprit in many cases of cyclospora infection.

Because diarrhea can be caused by many things, it can be difficult to diagnose cyclospora infection. A specialized test is required to identify the cyclospora parasite in stool samples. Treatment for cyclospora infection is antibiotics. Food safety precautions may help to prevent the disease

There is a whole lot wrong with this picture.  First of all, prepackaged convenience foods are never a good idea…green or not.  Let this be a reminder for you to buy fresh and local whenever possible.

Second, it isn’t wise to judge the book by its cover.  Just because this lettuce is packaged in a fresh, clean bag, never assume that it is either.

Lastly,  remember it is always better to be safe than sorry.  Never trust the source of your food so much that you neglect to adequately clean it!    Just ask the hundreds of victims that are probably still hugging the toilet because of contaminated lettuce.  They are all now part of the “wish I had” club.

If I were you, I would get in the habit of rinsing ALL of my fruits and veggies with 2.5 pH water.  There isn’t a “bug” in the world that can survive that!

Hold The Ice, Please!

toilet with iceWhen I traveled to China a few years ago I was surprised to find that ice is not commonly served in restaurants.  In fact, instead of cold water being served, you’re served very warm water because it is believed to aid in the digestive process.  The basis of this belief is that when you drink cold fluids with a meal you slow digestion down (while the stomach works to heat the fluids) and a slowed digestive process is believed to be a link to obesity.  Makes sense to me!

I rarely have a drink with ice.  I prefer my water to be room temperature and my coffee to be hot.   Lessons from my Asian friends along with the results of this U.K. study is all that is needed for me to kick the ice habit.  How about you?

Source:  UK Daily

“Scientific tests have shown that ice from branches of McDonald’s, Burger King, KFC, Starbucks, Cafe Rouge and Nando’s all had higher levels of bacteria than samples of water taken from their lavatory bowls.

Experts say it could be due to them being cleaned more often than the ice machines… The Burger King result suggested the cause was human contamination, likely to be from a staff member failing to wash their hands.”

Bottoms-up Boomers!  Its time to kick the ice habit!
