Bisphenol (BPA) was first invented in 1891 and was intended to be used as an artificial estrogen. It was quickly replaced by an estrogen enhancer called “DES” with even more potent estrogen properties. By the way, DES was later taken off the market when it was linked to reproductive cancers in girls born to mothers taking DES during pregnancy. (Clearly an early warning signal for the similar toxic properties confirmed for BPA years and years later).
No worries…BPA hasn’t gone to waste! It may not have lasted long as a prescription hormone enhancer but we get it “over-the- counter” for FREE in hundreds and hundreds of products! It is used to manufacture our hard plastics, our soft plastic water bottles, epoxy lining of metal food cans, even canned infant formula is laced with BPA in spite of the recent movement to mandate “BPA- free” baby bottles. Oh..and to be sure that we don’t miss the opportunity to add more toxins to our children you can find BPA in dental sealants that help “prevent cavities”.
Is it really any wonder why our children are suffering from obesity, cancer, and early puberty? These things are NOT just a generation that has “evolved”…they are the result of exposure to harmful toxins! It’s time to get our heads out of the sand and to be willing to fight for the next generation. Lets stop throwing them under the bus for the sake of convenience.
One very simple and yet very powerful thing you can do to protect the next generation is to STOP buying bottled water and STOP drinking tap water loaded with chemicals INCLUDING hormones not filtered out of human waste in the “water treatment” process.

It’s no wonder people glaze over when I talk to them about the importance of healthy water and how plastic bottles are polluting the planet. One blue recycling container and a little bit of elbow grease and most American’s actually believe that they’re doing their part to save the planet! How does it feel to be suckered into all of that work only to have your separated plastics end up in the local landfill?
We are recycling, right? WRONG!
For the most part (with few exceptions) U.S. companies believe that there isn’t enough money in recycling plastics so the plastics that we separate out from our garbage used to be shipped to China where it could be processed more affordably than here in the U.S. It should come as no surprise that there are HUGE drawbacks with this plan that the “experts” didn’t consider.
First of all, transporting plastics across the ocean consumes massive amounts of fuel which no longer makes financial sense to China. It never made sense to me! It takes 1 cup of oil just to produce a plastic bottle and then we ship it all the way around the world to begin the process all over again? No wonder we have an energy crisis!
Second, the small companies that do the majority of China’s plastic recycling have “no facilities to treat waste water before it flows into local rivers”. So in addition to an already horrific air pollution problem, China is now destroying their water sources with toxic plastic runoff. I guess the good news is that this costly (and ridiculous) plan of ours did keep a some of the discarded plastics out of our landfills…at least temporarily.
So…it’s official. As of 2013, plastics numbered 3-7 are absolutely, positively going to a landfill and mixed in with all of the other junk we throw away. China has stopped importing plastic trash under its new Green Fence Policy and Americans are getting the blame. Apparently 20% of the items we tossed into our plastic recycling bins were either not thoroughly washed (ha!) or were not recyclable so Chinese processors had to bury or burn the unusable plastics, polluting their air and growing their landfills. Go figure. There isn’t a good answer for millions and millions of disposable bottles each year…not in the U.S…not in China…not in the ocean…not anywhere. It must stop.
Even in our brightest hours of recycling – when China was being cooperative by taking all of our
trash plastics and recycling it so that it could be sold back to us – STILL less than 10% of our plastic junk EVER made it to recycling. Some say that we’re actually only recycling 1-2% of all of the plastics discarded. Do you wonder how the numbers could be so low? Because the exporting of plastics to China always comes down to negotiated pricing. If the price isn’t attractive enough then the plastic gets buried in our local landfills. How pathetic is that? So much for all of your blue container efforts!
It’s time to take real action. Action beyond that which makes you feel good when you toss your plastic bottles into a blue container…action that will truly make a difference. Toss the plastic for good. Clean up your water source and start refilling your own reusable bottle with healthy water. After all, this is the action recommended to all Americans in Reducing Environmental Cancer Risk…What We Can Do Now – a research study conducted by NIH for the President’s Cancer Panel) and I think it’s time to take heed.
If you don’t care enough about your own health to toss the harmful plastics then do it for the sake of the planet. The next generation and the environment will thank you for it and you’ll be saving tens of thousands of dollars in the long run!

There isn’t a good time or a good temperature to consume water out of a toxic plastic water bottle but I believe that we can ALL agree that the danger of BPA in our plastics is skyrocketed at high temperatures.
In spite of the dangers (and a multitude of warnings) we continue to offer bottled water to our troops even though we KNOW it has been stored in high-temperature warehouses throughout the Middle East. Come on, America! Is that any way to support our troops? They deserve much better than that!
Agent Orange is still wreaking havoc on the health of our Vietnam Veterans years after their exposure to it. A multitude of neurological (Parkinson’s, MS, etc.) conditions are recognized as being the result of exposure to Agent Orange and disability benefits are available to all who had boots-on-the-ground in Vietnam and who are now/still suffering with the aftermath. Obviously the damage done by chemical exposure is long-term and devastating. Who knew that Agent Orange would end up being chemical warfare against our own troops?
The BPA in the plastics being offered to our troops today will bring forth health challenges that make Agent Orange look like child’s play. The damage done by this chemical exposure will also be long-lasting and devastating. From neurological issues to cancer; from hormonal challenges to more pronounced PTSD, exposure to BPA will take its toll on our troops and their children for years to come. Another example of “chemical warfare” that our troops are paying the price for.
Sadly, it took years to acknowledge the damage done to our troops by Agent Orange. The damage done by BPA exposure may never be acknowledged. After all, it’s just an innocent little bottle of water, right?
Isn’t it time that we do a little fighting FOR our troops? What can you do? You can speak up and help raise awareness about the dangers of plastics and you can lead by example and REFUSE to buy water in toxic bottles!
Our troops will thank you…
Your body will thank you…
The environment will thank you…
The generations to come will thank you…
GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Some of us waste a whole lot of time talking to some of you who believe that there is absolutely nothing wrong (or harmful) with your food and water supply. We can do our best to educate you on the dangers of GMO’s in your food and BPA in your water and you tune us out like yesterday’s news. Maybe…just maybe, you’ll pay closer attention to what’s in your food IF know more about what additives are used to make your food more appealing to the palette.
Beaver butt, otherwise known as “castoreum”, is one of the most common flavorings used in our food and yet; millions of people eat it everyday without knowing what they’re consuming.
Castoreum is drawn from the castor sacs within the anus (aka “butt”) of the beaver. For a beaver, this slimy brown substance is used to mark its territory, but for humans, it is used as a food additive that is labeled as “natural flavoring” – vanilla, strawberry and raspberry are the most common flavors that use beaver butt as an enhancer.
I wonder what deranged minds started emitting slime from the anus of a beaver for food purposes? I’m assuming it was the same deranged minds that give a “thumbs up” for us to consume pesticides, herbisides, GMO’s, fluoride, BPA and everything else wreaking havoc on our health today.
I’m hoping that beaver butt is a wake-up call for you. There is danger lurking in your food and water and you can’t afford to ignore it anymore. When the food industry adds drainage from a beaver’s butt to enhance the flavor of your food, what else do you think they might be adding to your food and water while calling it “safe” and “natural”. The list is very long and very scary.
We’ve got big problems and it’s time to take control of your own health. Start reading labels and KNOW what’s in your food and water. You’ll be glad you did.

This shower scene from Alfred Hitchcock’s classic movie “Psycho” was so frightening that it kept people awake at night and caused lots of people to change their shower habits for fear that Norman Bates would pay them a visit too. One scene in one movie scared people silly and provoked them to make changes!
That was just a movie. The following real-life list should scare the stew out of EVERYONE and it should provoke you to make changes to avoid danger too:
1 in every 2 males will get cancer at some point in their lifetime
1 in every 3 females will get cancer at some point in their lifetime
1 in every 5 people will get Alzheimer’s by the age of 65
1 in every 50 children have autism
I’ve got my boxing gloves on and I’m fighting back with everything I’ve got! Norman Bates wouldn’t stand a chance with me! When are you going to WAKE UP, GLOVE UP and FIGHT BACK? It’s time to take responsibility for your own health and the health of the next generation(s). Ignoring the threats don’t make them go away no more than ignoring Norman Bates would have made him disappear.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you aren’t invincible. It doesn’t make sense for you to sit back fat, dumb and happy while expecting to have some medical miracle “fix” you when you face your own diagnosis. Modern medicine has NO CURE for any of the these things! I’m assuming that you’d muster up the courage to fight back if you had an encounter with Norman Bates? Maybe not. You’re obviously pretty complacent when it comes to real danger.
There is one very simple change that can have a profound impact on your health and that can get you off on the right track in your FIGHT for health and wellness. This change is so simple that most people don’t “get it”. This simple change is 70% of the necessary protocol for your good health! Without it you die. Without the right change you rot. This change addresses THE MOST VITAL NUTRIENT for the human body…water.
Change your water source IMMEDIATELY and drink LOTS of it! Reverse osmosis water (includes most bottled water) is just as harmful to the human body as chemically treated tap water and the BPA is killing you (slow but sure).
It gets a little lonely out here on the island by myself. Do you want to join me or are you content to “take it lying down”? Don’t say I didn’t warn you. The health threats that we face today make Norman Bates look like a chump.

It looks like we’ve been duped again. After a very long battle to have BPA removed from consumer products (at least those used by small children) we find that the product being used in its place is equally as harmful to our health.
The journal Toxicology In Vitro reports:
“In 2011, the European Commission has restricted the use of Bisphenol A in plastic infant feeding bottles. In a response to this restriction, Bisphenol S is now often used as a component of plastic substitutes for the production of baby bottles. One of the major concerns leading to the restriction of Bisphenol A was its weak estrogenic activity. By using two highly standardised transactivation assays, we could demonstrate that the estrogenic activity of Bisphenol A and Bisphenol S is of a comparable potency.”
Bisphenal (BPA/BPS) is a chemical found in hard plastics and the coatings of food and drink cans. The body reacts to this chemical in a similar way as it does to estrogen and other hormones. This is why BPA is referred to as a “hormone disruptor”.
Don’t look now but small doses from the Bisphenal family over long periods of time (in the womb and beyond) and your small child will develop HUGE hormonal problems. If you ever wonder why so many kids today are sexually active in grade school, why so many of our young boys don’t act like little boys are why our little girls are beginning the menstrual process as young as age 7 years old you can turn to Bisphenal for answers.
Bisphenal is used to make a multitude of products including water bottles, dental fillings, medical devices and BPA can be found in epoxy resins used as coatings inside of food and drink cans. It isn’t easy to get away from BPA but it is possible.
Yep…telling us that BPA has been replaced with BPS for safety purposes is just BS. Start saying “
hell no” to plastics for the sake of the health of your children and your grandchildren. They are worth the inconvenience. At least I think they are.
