Your Bones Are ALIVE And They Need Your Attention!


Most of us take our bones for granted unless we’re faced with a crisis like a broken bone or a fractured hip.  Our bones are very much alive and they need our attention if we want them to “stand up” to the job that we ask them to do day-after-day and year-after-year.

More than 250,000 people over the age of 65 break a hip each year in the United States, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.  It’s interesting to note that most of the time people don’t fall a break a hip…they break a hip and fall.  How’s that for brittle bones?  Demographic reports suggest that 10,000 people a day are turning 65 and that this will continue for the next 17 years!  It looks like we have a lot of bone problems on the horizon if we don’t take action to protect them!

Contrary to popular belief, men are at risk too.  About 1 in 5 men will break a bone due to osteoporosis.  In fact, men claim 1 out of every 3 broken hips worldwide.  Sadly, both health and quality of life can plummet after a hip fracture.  It’s alarming to note that 37% of men die within a year after they break a hip — twice as many as women, found a 2014 study published by the International Osteoporosis Foundation.  This speaks volumes to the poor condition of the overall health of those battling brittle bones.  It’s time to give your bones (and all of the rest of you) the attention they deserve!

Are You “Bad to the Bone”?

Our bones consist of 25% water.  If you aren’t efficiently hydrating your body, your bones (and the rest of you) will pay the ultimate price.  This is just one of the reasons that the elderly often have hip and knee problems.  We lose our sense of thirst as we age and if we don’t make a conscious effort to drink lots of healthy water (naturally laced with minerals), we will be living in a state of chronic dehydration and the bones will begin to break down…and that’s just the beginning!

Red blood cells don’t last long in the bloodstream so they need to be replaced continuously by new cells, which originate in your bone marrow. This area in the center of the bone is a spongy tissue that churns out billions of new, mature blood cells each day (wow!) just to keep us supplied with the oxygen and energy we need.   If we refuse to give the body the amount of (and the quality of) water it needs, this entire system begins to fail.  Drinking plenty of healthy water is a very small price to pay to sustain health.

How Are You Neglecting Your Bones?

1.  You overlook calcium.   Adults need about 1,000 milligrams of calcium a day to keep the bones in good shape.  A huge source of calcium is healthy, mineral-laced water.  Unfortunately most  people are replacing healthy water with useless  bottled water (all minerals have been removed). So in addition to not consuming enough healthy water to stay hydrated, you’re robbing minerals from your bones to make up for the minerals that are not in your drinking water.  Does that make sense to you?  I sure hope  not!  Change you water…change your life!

Calcium is just part of the equation though.  In addition to calcium, daily magnesium, protein, and vitamin D are essential. Are You Clever or Wise When It Comes To Cancer?

Are you willing to take serious steps to AVOID Cancer or are you clever enough to hope there is a cure for you if you get it?  The American Cancer Society was founded on May 23, 2013 and we aren’t any closer to finding a cure for cancer (or any other disease whatsoever) than we were over 100 years ago.    What we DO have is knowledge from Nobel Prize for Medicine honoree Dr. Otto Warburg who discovered the ROOT CAUSE of disease (including cancer) in 1923 – he was awarded the prize in 1931.  In simple terms, cancer stems from a body in the state of acidosis (not alkaline enough) AND cells that are oxygen deprived.  With the rate of cancer in America at 46% – 1 in 2 males and 1 in 3 females it sounds like we might want to focus more on what CAUSES cancer. Are you willing to reconsider cleaning products that contain harmful chemicals (including mercury) or has the marketing worked so well that you believe these products worth the risk to you and your family?

Are you willing to avoid all GMO products that are known to cause cancer and are hormone disruptors or is the perfect looking food worth the risk to you and your family?

I’ve made serious and “inconvenient” changes for family.  It’s worth it to me.  I’ll take wise over clever any day!



You Just THINK You Don’t Use Splenda! Think again!


People like sucralose—the artificial sweetener marketed as Splenda—because the human body can’t break it down and use it. That means the substance has almost no calories and makes it a popular ingredient in everything from cookies to diet sodas.  Unfortunately,  wastewater treatment plants can’t break down Splenda either.   Don’t look now but although flushing the toilet make things disappear from site, it doesn’t mean we won’t be reintroduced to it later when we drink water from a municipal system.  Recycling sewage is no easy task!  Yum!

Samples of wastewater were taken from seven wastewater-processing plants in Arizona. For at least 48 days, the water was run through both anaerobic and aerobic biological batch reactors, systems designed to use natural processes to break down wastes. None of the samples showed a significant decrease in the amount of sucralose aka Splenda present.   Based upon these results, you can bank on Splenda being present in bottled water too.   Water bottling companies get their water from a local municipal water source and they don’t come close to filtering tap water to this degree!

So, it looks like you get a little Splenda (right along with a multitude of other chemicals and prescription drugs) whether you like it or not!   “Cheers” to your mystery fluids!

I wouldn’t drink tap water or bottled water (aka tap water by a different name) for all of the money in the world.  My family drinks ONLY electrolyzed reduced water and I sleep a lot better KNOWING that they are getting the healthiest, chemical-free (Splenda-free) water on the planet.   Nope…its not cheap….but neither is the health of my family.  I took care of our water needs once and for all.

I don’t cut corners when it comes to my most precious and prized  “possessions”.    I don’t even want to know how many thousands and thousands of dollars I spent on toxic water in a bottle before I invested in my own ionizer.  Now THAT’S a scary thought.

Of course the proper balance and a healthy lifestyle might take a little effort on your part but it sure beats ER visits involving needles and scalpels.  Ouch!

Inflammation Is The Enemy! What Are You Going to do About it?

Steve Jobs…Health Nut or too Smart for his Own Good?

appleI am famous for saying “sometimes people can be SO SMART that they’re stupid”.  Steve Jobs was clearly one of the most brilliant technological visionaries of all times.  His diligence and ability to build, not only the right product at the right time but to surround himself with the right team to pull it all off, is nothing short of genius.  However, when it comes to health and nutrition its an entirely different story.

Apparently “Apple” was duly named by Steve Jobs.  He took “an apple a day keeps the doctor away” to a whole new level.    Steve Jobs didn’t just eat an apple a day…apparently he ate them all day.  Steve Jobs  followed a “fruitarian” diet with some minor modifications (surprise!)…He is said to have eaten ONLY FRUIT FOR SEVERAL YEARS prior to his death.  

It doesn’t take a rocket-scientist to know that the body needs more than just fruit to function and that an overdose of fruit-only will almost assuredly lead to pancreatic issues.   Although some give credit to Steve’s protocol for “extended life” with pancreatic cancer, others will suggest that his pancreatic cancer was not the “bad kind” (they all sound bad to me) and that he likely could have reversed his condition if he had been willing to take the advice from qualified nutritionist and adjust his diet to the needs of his body.  I guess he thought that he was smarter than that.  That’s not a surprise.

Hollywood  got a up-close look at a fruit only diet when Ashton Kutcher tried to emulate Steve Job’s unique diet in preparation for the filming of the Jobs movie.  Kutcher’s attempt to mirror Jobs backfired when he ended up in the hospital with severe pancreatic problems within a few weeks of adopting this diet.

Sounds to me like Jobs took EVERYTHING over the top.  It’s too bad.  This genius died a relatively young man.  It’s a shame he wasn’t willing to listen to “stupid people”.   I think he could have learned a few things from us.

You remember the movie…senior citizens sneaking into a vacant house in their neighborhood to swim in the pool.   Then one day they noticed that they had stumbled upon their own fountain of youth.  They felt strong..young..energized.  They didn’t want to ruin a good thing by sharing their “secret” so they only told the people closest to them about this amazing water with “healing powers”.    Surprisingly not everybody responded the same way; even though they were eye-witness to significant physical changes and improved health and energy in their friends!


  • Some refused to try the water  because they thought that the idea was ridiculous…after all “water is just water”
  • Some followed because they saw first-hand the results so they believed what their friends told them
  • Others never heard about it because nobody told them

News Flash! Heavy Metal Isn’t All About Music


Don’t look now but we’re being poisoned from the inside out.  Many of the products we use have heavy metals in them.  Heavy metals are in the foods we eat, the water (most of us) drink, and the air we breathe.  Although the body needs very small amounts of  zinc, copper, cobalt, manganese, molybdenum, vanadium and strontium, we take in more than 20  heavy metals that are non-essential (and ultimately harmful)  to our health.  The is largely due to our demand for a convenient lifestyle and our complacency in allowing this dangerous exposure to be part of our daily living.

Once heavy metals enter the body they do damage at the cellular level by causing dangerous free radical production.   This is an open invitation for cancer and other chronic diseases.  Autism is NOT the only metal sensitive “condition” we face in America today and refraining from immunizations is not the only remedy!

Mercury, aluminum, lead and cadmium cause damage to the intestinal tract. Heavy metal toxicity is commonly attributed to the “gut” issues that most children on the autism spectrum suffer with.  While aluminum isn’t truly a heavy metal, it’s still an extremely poisonous substance that can accumulate in  body tissue.  Research has implied that aluminum toxicity may be a key component to Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease.  Of course, scientist don’t want to believe that something this “simple” could be the root cause of the problem so the jury is still out on that one.  I suspect that it will STAY out as long as the money for research and treatment continues to flow.

The colon has a huge job just dealing with digestion of  all the foods and drinks we consume…it has a nearly impossible job when you consider the toxins that enter the body along with food, air, WATER and other dangers that we encounter as part of  modern-day living.   We need to give the body some relief by making every effort to avoid heavy metal exposure and by actively detoxifying the body on a routine basis.

Here are some simple steps that everyone can manage!

  • Eliminate exposure to aluminum in all products as much as you can including antiperspirants, cookware and utensils.  Don’t purchase food or drink in aluminum cans.
  • Watch what you eat – pay attention to where your seafood comes from.
