In one recent study, the health statistics for nearly 48,000 men and over 77,000 women over the age of 20 were reviewed, in which they found that men who consumed more than one diet soda per day had an increased risk of developing multiple myeloma and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. This was the longest-ever human aspartame study, spanning 22 years. Interestingly enough, this association was not found in women. Leukemia was associated with diet soda intake in both sexes.
There are over 6,000 products currently marketed throughout the U.S. that contain Aspartame in spite of the fact that scientist have been warning our government for years. In fact, when Aspartame was first introduced to the market, military pilots were restricted from flying within a specified time of ingesting any product that contained Aspartame. Apparently our government believed something was “risky” about this popular artificial sweetener. The fact that it produces methanol within the body might have something to do with it.
The long-term effects of Aspartame use are frightening. People are often misdiagnosed with debilitating conditions such as Lupus, Fibromyalgia and MS because the symptoms of Aspartame toxicity and the symptoms associated with these chronic conditions are almost identical. The documentary entitled “Sweet Misery” is eye-opening and compelling. Turn off your TV and watch this important documentary before you take another sip of that diet soda.
The human body is beautifully and wonderfully made. It NEEDS healthy water and lots of it! Just say “no” to Aspartame products.
