If you were to purchase the cheapest bottle of wine that you could get your hands on and pour it into a wine bottle that is recognized around the world as housing the finest wine, you wouldn’t fool anybody that knows anything about wine. One taste of the cheap wine masquerading as one of the world’s finest and your scam would be over. There is a HUGE difference in wine and those who have studied wines from vine to bottle know that. They can’t be fooled. They can taste AND feel the difference!
If you were to take the finest water in the world and pour it into a bottle that is recognized as housing a popular brand of bottled water, you wouldn’t fool anybody that knows anything about water. One taste of Kangen Water masquerading as one of the world’s plastic-wrapped waters and your scam would be over. There is a HUGE difference in water and those who have studied water from source to bottle know that. They can’t be fooled. They can taste AND feel the difference!
If you’re okay with inferior wine and inferior water that’s certainly your business. In addition to tasting nasty, cheap wine could mean the difference between having a major hangover or not. Obviously that isn’t attributed to the lower price, it comes down to the quality of the grapes, the processing itself AND what’s IN the wine besides grapes.
On the other hand, “cheap” (aka bottled) water could mean the difference between life and death. Obviously that isn’t attributed to price either. It comes down to the quality of the water, the processing itself AND what’s IN (or not in) the water besides water. Naturally it will take a while for “cheap” water to rob you of your health but it certainly will…as surely as you breathe.
“In sickness and in health…till death do us part” is SUPPOSED to apply to marriage vows and NOT to your bottled water habit. Oh well…I guess some people didn’t get the memo.
