Water Not Fit For Pigs? Lovely….

Chinese officials report that they have fished out 900 dead pigs from a Shanghai river that is a water source for city residents.  It looks like there is a lot more floating in that river than just 900 dead pigs.   So far they haven’t found any evidence that 900 pigs were dumped into the river nor have they found any animal epidemic.

The Chinese environmental protection professionals have been called in to monitor the river’s water quality.    From the looks of things, I think they might be a little too late.

Just think…the U.S. imports “organic” food from China and our FDA puts their stamp of approval for human consumption.  I’ll let you be the judge.  Is it possible to grow “organic” food with water toxic enough to kill pigs?   Hmm…
