I read a post today from Suzanne Somers that is intended to reveal “hidden” causes for hampered weight loss. There were some obvious things noted in this post like “stress” and “hidden ingredients”, etc. This one caught my eye for a number of reasons:
Toxic products in your home.
Though you might never have realized it, the typical home is full of toxins that slow your metabolism and can add up to unhealthy weight gain and disease. Here’s how to clean it up: Gradually transition from plastic and aluminum containers to glass. As you run out of laundry detergent, tile cleaner, or other products, replace them with the many non-toxic versions now available or try natural cleaners like distilled white vinegar, baking soda, borax, or lemon juice. Consider installing air filters in your home and keep common house plants around instead of toxic air fresheners.
It really is comical (in a sick sort of way) that we would consider switching out our “toxic” cleaning supplies to encourage weight loss and YET most of us don’t give it a second thought for health reasons. If the toxins in cleaning products can actually slow down the metabolism just IMAGINE what else they’re capable of damaging!!
My Kangen Water machine “creates” 7 different types of water…some for drinking…some for cleaning…some for cooking. Go green/all-in-one! Ask me how!
CHANGE YOUR WATER…CHANGE YOUR LIFE.
